Liz Steele
Liz Steele has been with the Columbus Saints Drum & Bugle Corps as the Color Guard Caption Head since 2015. In addition to the Corps, Liz co-founded the Saints Winter Guard program for the 2016 season. Her experience includes marching with the Hamilton TWP High School Marching Band and the Ohio Dominican University Marching Band. Liz also leads the Saints community outreach partnering with local community centers providing after-school guard programming.
Liz holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio Dominican University and is currently employed as a legal professional. Her hobbies include reading, music concerts, theater productions, learning vintage hairstyles, and last but not least, color guard!
Melissa Loringer

Melissa Loringer
Melissa has been marching since 2003. She was a member of the Top Hats (Pittsburgh, PA) for the 2006-2007 winter season, where she marched in the TRWEA and WGI circuits. After a brief hiatus from the activity, she returned to her alma mater, Fairview High School, as the Colorguard Caption Head and held that position from summer 2010- spring 2015. Melissa joined the Erie Thunderbirds in Fall 2013 as they returned to SDCA competition, and was added to the colorguard staff mid-season. She is proud to be a DCA I&E gold medalist and a member of DCA’s Class A Best Colorguard with the Erie Thunderbirds. She has been on staff with the Columbus Saints for both outdoor and indoor programs since 2018. She is excited to bring her passion for the activity to Columbus!
In her time outside of the Saints, Melissa works in the Accounting Department for BMW Financial Services, and is attending school for a second Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Photography.

Cha’La Bucalo
Cha’La has been on the Winterguard Staff since the 2019 season, however, she has marched with the Saints Winterguard since the inaugural 2016 season.
Adam Schornak

Adam Schornak
Adam has been marching since the fall of 2014. He spent 5 years with Greeneview High School, where his spinning career began. In 2019 he joined Cincinnati Tradition for the summer season competing in the DCA circuit. He was hired by his alma mater, Greeneview High School, in 2019 as the Guard Director. While there, he also assisted with drill design and visual effects for the whole marching ensemble. He joined the Independent A Class Winterguard, Tour De Force, for their 2019-2020 winter season. In 2021, he joined the Columbus Saints where he performed and assisted with choreography and technique throughout the summer. For the 2022 winter season, he is a cast member of the World Class ensemble, Juxtaposition. Adam is very excited to be a part of the Columbus Saints family!
Outside of the Saints, Adam is a full time Merchandise Operations Leader at Petco. Enjoys Hair styling, gaming, and meeting new people.
