The Saints Drum & Bugle Corps is gearing up for a season that’s gonna swing you off your feet, and we want you to be a part of it!
Last weekend, we kicked off our season with a lively open house at Crossroads UMC. While the turnout was modest, the energy was electric! We welcomed back familiar faces like our eight-year veteran Josh DeWitt, and countless enthusiastic alumni, and even had the pleasure of meeting some brand new Saints who are taking their first steps into the world of marching music. It was truly inspiring to see the excitement across the room, from seasoned veterans to wide-eyed newbies.
And speaking of excitement, get ready for a season unlike any other! This year, we’re diving into the vibrant world of the Harlem Renaissance with a high-energy jazz program. Imagine yourself dancing across the stage, channeling the spirit of Lennox Avenue in its heyday, with music that’ll make your heart sing and your feet move.
But don’t let the fancy footwork fool you – we’re inclusive and welcoming to all levels of experience. Whether you’re a seasoned musician or just starting out, we’ve got a place for you in our ranks. We offer scholarships for high school students, flexible payment plans, and affordable membership dues to make sure everyone has the opportunity to join the Saints family. Membership for the entire DCI season is just $800!
Ready to join the party? Our next open house is coming up on January 27th at Crossroads UMC (1100 Hague Ave, Columbus, OH) from 9AM to 6PM. Come meet the team, learn about the program, and get a taste of the magic that awaits you. We can’t wait to meet you and show you what it means to be a Saint!
