COLUMBUS SAINTS – BE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE
We are outraged to witness the horrific death of George Floyd and are shocked that these incidents have continued to happen. Our organization is steeped in black history in the tradition of HBCU styled bands, and drumlines eventually growing to embrace the spirit of those early African-American corps. The Saints is built on the values that no matter your race, religion, gender, orientation, income, education, or experience – you are welcome. Many in our family have experienced discrimination in their lives and come to the Saints as a way to be safe; be authentic, and be with friends. We reaffirm our commitment to equality and will continue to strive towards being the change we want to see in the community by providing inclusive, and affordable programming for all.
